These Terms govern your use of the Luminelle mobile app and the website at luminelle.ai (together, the “Service”), operated by HushThrive SRL (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Luminelle. If you are under the digital consent age in your country (for example, 16 in Romania), you also need consent from a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

  • You’re responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
  • One account per person; please provide accurate information.
  • You can delete your account at any time from in-app Settings → Delete account.

3. What Luminelle is - and what it isn’t

Important

Luminelle is an educational and informational tool. It surfaces ingredient and safety information from public regulatory sources and helps you track skincare, nutrition, and cycle data over time.

Luminelle is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Selfie observations, ingredient flags, calorie estimates, and cycle predictions are estimates - not medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. You are responsible for what you do with information from Luminelle.

4. Subscriptions and payment

  • Luminelle is offered with a free tier and a paid subscription tier.
  • Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store your payment card details.
  • Pricing is shown in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the period, per the relevant store policy.
  • To cancel, manage your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings - we cannot cancel store-managed subscriptions on your behalf.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. EU consumers’ statutory withdrawal rights apply where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes or to harm others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or interfere with the Service.
  • Upload images of other people without their consent - the selfie feature is for your own face.
  • Submit content that is unlawful, harassing, or that infringes others’ rights.
  • Resell, rent, or commercially exploit the Service.

6. Your content and the license you give us

You retain ownership of selfies, journal entries, and other content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you - including transmitting your selfies and product/meal photos for analysis. We do not use your selfies, journal entries, or other personal content to train AI models.

7. Our intellectual property

The Luminelle name, logo, scoring methodology, app, and website are owned by HushThrive SRL. The underlying regulatory ingredient lists we cite are public sources and are not owned by us.

8. Third-party data

Product information shown in the app is sourced from public databases and regulators. We do not guarantee that this information is exhaustive or current with the very latest updates. If you spot an error, please email info@luminelle.ai.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable. On termination, your access ends and your data is deleted according to the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that ingredient or safety information is comprehensive or current. Nothing in this section limits warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HushThrive SRL is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or statutory consumer rights.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. The competent courts of Bucharest, Romania have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence, which continue to apply where they would be more favorable to you. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after notice means you accept the updated Terms.
